SHORT & SWEET DELUSIONS is a – forthcoming – collection of short stories, which portray various characters suffering from the delusion of a better life. Although banal – who hasn’t once dreamed of another life? – the split between dream and reality sometimes leads to unexpected situations.
The length of the stories varies from 300 to 3000 words. While they are not connected to one another, some characters appear in several stories. They are set in contemporary London.
These glimpses into people’s lives are meant to be both funny and insightful. They can be read as simple slices of life or as moral parables depicting the delusional nature of human beings.
